We’re recruiting! To continue providing an outstanding service on some of the most high-profile infrastructure projects across the UK, we are looking for new talent to fill the following vacancies in our award-winning team:

 

Topographical Surveyor

We are on the hunt for a technically minded and experienced Topographical Surveyor to join our Woking based team. The position will involve conducting topographical surveys, tracking GPR systems and working alongside our Mobile GPR system teams.

A willingness to learn would be ideal for this position, as well as a demonstratable experience with GPS, the latest digital Total Stations, Post Survey Processing Software and AutoCAD/BricsCAD.

Utility Surveyor

Macleod Simmonds are looking for a Utility Surveyor to join the team, with at least three years of experience in the utility mapping industry and a desire to learn new techniques using the very latest digital mapping technology.

Extensive experience with EML, GPR, GPS, the latest digital Total Stations and CAD packages are required for this role. Candidates with an NVQ3 or higher in utility mapping will be at an advantage.

Trainee Utility Surveyor

We are also aiming to fill a Trainee Utility Surveyor position. The right candidate will receive an industry standard training plan from an allocated personal mentor with the objective of providing safe and effective support to our survey team, while learning the skills to undertake PAS128 surveys, data processing, GPS & TPS positioning, CAD software, and using Ground Penetrating Radar equipment.

Our goal is to give a Trainee Utility Surveyor all the skills to become a Junior Surveyor, with further progression a possibility with competitive salaries at every level.

Experience working in utilities industry would be an advantage, but the right candidate will be technically minded and have an eagerness to learn on the job.
