Celebrating 10 Years of Macleod Simmonds

This week, we celebrate our 10 year anniversary and as the saying goes, time flies! This is certainly true as it only seems like yesterday we were ‘setting up shop’ at our home with just the four of us. We started out with a determination to prove the benefits of array ground probing radar within the utility mapping world.

Since those early days, the company has gone from strength to strength, and in recent years we have achieved some prestigious industry awards for our work. We won the Most Innovative Highway Authority Scheme Of The Year Award at the Highways Awards 2018.  Then, only last month, we were back at this year’s event achieving Highly Commended for the Best Use of New Technology.

With traditional values, technological understanding and our clients interests at the very heart of what we do, we have continued to grow our passionate team. As the company grew, we opened an office in Woking, providing a great, new fresh working environment. Brexit and, of course, a global pandemic brought on other challenges, but we have successfully used these to learn from and move forward.

At Macleod Simmonds, we have always been committed to providing a high-quality service, and we have completed a total of 1259 projects over the years, from major London Airports to historical landmarks and more recently the strategic highways network. This wouldn’t be achievable without a good team behind us.

Our future looks incredibly positive, with continued investment in the latest technology, we will continue to provide bespoke solutions to our clients with a service they can rely on.

Thankfully, we can celebrate in person with the team this year and will be raising a glass at our forthcoming Christmas Party.
