Macleod Simmonds is a multidisciplinary Geospatial Consultancy who use the very latest digital mapping technology in conjunction with our own innovative methodologies, on some of the highest profile infrastructure projects in the UK.
To continue providing the outstanding services that we do, to an ever-growing list of very high profile clients, we are looking for physically fit, capable, personable, ambitious and dedicated individuals to join the team. Putting integrity, accuracy and reliability to the fore, suitable candidates for the role of Topographical Surveyor can expect to be well rewarded within our industry leading and multi award-winning team.
Experience working in the utilities industry would be an advantage but a technically minded and experienced Topographical Surveyor with the right attitude and willingness to learn would be ideal for this position.
Suitable candidates will have demonstrable and extensive experience with GPS, the latest digital Total Stations, Post Survey Processing Software (such as N4CE) and AutoCAD/BricsCAD. The position will initially involve conducting small scale topographic surveys, tracking GPR systems and working with our Mobile GPR system teams at varied projects in London and around the UK.
It is essential that you have a full clean UK manual driving licence.
We are offering the following in addition to a basic salary of between £25,000.00 and £30,000.00:
